Frankfurt–Hahn Airport is located in the Rhineland-Palatinate state of Germany, once a US military base converted for civilian use. Despite being around 100 kilometers away from Frankfurt am Main, it's known as "Frankfurt–Hahn Airport". It's heavily used by budget airlines and cargo carriers, with Ryanair notably having a base there. While it doesn't bear the title "International Airport", it offers flights to many European cities outside Germany.
