Wiesbaden Army Airfield

Wiesbaden Army Airfield (formerly Wiesbaden Air Base, IATA: WIE, ICAO: ETOU) is a military airfield operated by the United States Army with a history of over 100 years. It is located approximately 8 kilometers southeast of downtown Wiesbaden and about 18 kilometers west of Frankfurt Airport. Headquarters of the United States Army Europe (USAREUR), Wiesbaden U.S. Army Garrison, and the AFN Wiesbaden transmitter station are also situated here. Additionally, it serves as a major base for the 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB) and operates airlines. Named after General Lucius D. Clay, it is also known as Lucius D. Clay Kaserne.
